課程概述

掌握國家發展基本知識。包括:熟悉現代國家理論、當代發展理論及發展型國家的趨勢,理解近代台灣、東亞及歐美國家的國家發展經驗,並培養學生觀察及認識當代國際發展的多樣視角,進而幫助學生如何從國家及發展理論出發,尋找及研究本土、東亞及全球的國家發展議題。
建立碩士生基本能力:閱讀(判斷、綜整、分析…)、寫作(節奏、對象、策略…)。 

課程目標
待補本課程分四大部分。第一部分為國家,主要使學生能認識及瞭解國家理論內涵及趨勢。第二部分則探討國家的政治善是甚麼?為何民主是可欲的政治善?第三部分主題著重在發展型國家理論及政策,我們將檢視當代東亞經濟、政治及社會等發展議題。第四部分則探討全球化下國家轉型理論與經驗的議題,特別是有關永續及數位發展。 
課程要求
1. 心得(第2、3、4週必選,其餘任選7篇,共10篇,期中考前(10/28)應至少5篇)、課程參與及討論。
2. 量變而後質變(K. Marx)。培養閱讀英文、整理大量資訊(料)、組織複雜概念、書寫學術等耐心及能力。

1. 出席、發言(問)、互相討論及回應等。需帶一個問題或感想到課堂發言。 2. 至少有一週引導課堂討論,每組共40-60分鐘即可(請先預演,千萬別超過時間)。注意:不只是內容報告,更要引起對話、討論、鎖定主題、設計活動、引發問題等等。報告講義以一張A4為原則,一面兩頁,雙面四頁(如課綱形式),並請製作PPT。無講義也可。 3. 為因應當前疫情,建議各位同學盡量在教室內至少間隔一個空位就座,避免緊鄰。另請最早到課同學們協助先將門窗都開啟。 4. 如因未來有居家檢疫、自主管理或其他健康需求的同學,在一定期限內可採遠距教學修課。請同學先熟悉相關操作方法。 5. 如因未來疫情需要,可能改為遠距教學,請同學先熟悉相關操作方法。遠距教室網址:https://meet.google.com/wjw-xxuk-dwm
